It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the ISSTD XXI World Congress on Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, Australia, from the 19th to 22nd October 2022.

Our meeting will include a diverse faculty with local, regional, and international speakers who are experts in the field. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, to allow for those unable to travel, although we hope you can join us in-person. We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney.

Abstract Submission Extended to 20th June 2022 

 

Delegates are invited to submit abstracts for the ISSTD XXI World Congress on Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases in Sydney, Australia. There is no limit on the number of abstracts that may be submitted by a person or organization.

If accepted for a presentation all presenters must register as a participant and attend the congress (in person or virtually).

Abstracts may be submitted in the following categories: Clinical, Research, Basic Science, Translational Science, Education, Health Policy.

Abstracts can be selected for Oral, Poster or Late Breaking Presentation*. Please indicate which is your preferred category.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 400 words and must be submitted by using the link below no later than midnight (AEST) Monday 20th June 2022.

*Late Breaking category provides an opportunity for new and evolving research to be presented, with results not finalised by abstract closing date.

Notification of Abstract Acceptance: Please note due to the overwhelming number of abstract received, the notification date has been changed to Friday 29th July.  The early bird rate will be extended to all successful abstract submitters.

Abstracts submitted will be considered for the following awards:

Kohorn Award – Best Educational Lecture ($500USD)

Best Oral Presentation – Clinical ($250USD)

Best Poster Presentation – Clinical ($250USD)

Best Poster Presentation – Science ($250USD)

 

Travel Bursaries

The ISSTD provides travel bursaries to support presenters from low and middle income countries. A total of $5,000USD will be awarded – the amount is typically divided into $500USD to $1,000USD per presenter.

Join us at as we enjoy dinner and the stunning views of Sydney's coastline at the historic Quarantine Station (Q Station). We will discover some early Australian convict history and as darkness descends over Q Station’s buildings, the burial ground and empty pathways we will embark on a ghost tour of one of Australia's most haunted sites.

Tickets includes transport to and from Q Station, welcome drink, dinner and ghost tour.

The ghost tour is recommended for children aged 8 and over and children between 8-14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Moderate mobility and fitness required as well as comfortable walking shoes
